Meet CHUSY's

Nathan Spellberg

CHUSY President

He/Him/His

Hey CHUSY! My name is Nathan Spellberg and I’m your 2021-2022 Regional President! I go to school at HPHS and my home chapter is BEANS. I started USY at my first CHUSYfest in 8th grade and ever since then I have fallen in love with USY. Outside of USY, I am involved in DECA, and Robotics. I can't wait for an amazing year with all of you!!!

Jake Kamen

CHUSY Israel Affairs VP

He/Him/His

Hey CHUSY -- I’m Jake Kamen, your 2021-2022 Israeli Affairs Vice President. As you may already assume, I love Israel, particularly the political and cultural aspects of the nation. Because of this, my favorite city in Israel is Haifa, due to its modernity and technological focus. For me, I’m very focused on the learning and informing of my job, wanting this type of work to describe me as an IA throughout the year. When I’m not doing things with USY, you can usually find me at my high school, as I am very involved in the music programs there. I play piano in the Jazz band, drums in the Marching Band drumline, percussion in the Wind Ensemble, and sing bass in the Choraliers, our school’s show choir. Along with these musical activities, I am also on the board for the STUNTS show, our high school's huge student-led talent show. Outside of school, I also enjoy board games, reading and writing, and spending time with my family and friends. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store!

Hi everyone! My name is Brooke Robbins and I’m beyond excited to be serving as the Regional Communications Vice President this year. At school I’m involved with my school's mental health advocacy club: Mind Your Mind, National Honors Society, Hebrew National Honors Society, Club Israel, and Little Patriots! While I do spend a lot of time involved in USY, outside of USY I love to read, spend time outside, exercise, watch the sunset, hang out with my friends and family, and learn new things. CHUSY Region is an incredible place where I have met some of my closest friends. I encourage you to get involved! Can’t wait to work with you all this year!!
