USY Gesher
(5th-7th Grade)

About USY Gesher

(formerly known as Kadima)

The Gesher (bridge) level of USY is USY’s, USCJ’s youth movement, program for middle school teens and pre-teens. To many Jewish middle school aged kids, however, it means so much more. Kids at the Gesher level of USY gain a foundation in the basics of Jewish life and are given the chance to make lots of Jewish friends

The Gesher level of USY is a lot like our high school USY, but for middle school students. Most USY Chapters also have USY Gesher chapters, and these chapters have programs similar to those of of the high school chapters. Also, each year there is a regional convention just for the Gesher level of USY.

USY Gesher is a great chance for young Jewish kids to learn about Judaism, but it is also a great place to have a good time and make new friends.

Email info@chusy.org for more information about participating in the Gesher level of USY TODAY!

Between Hebrew school and bar/bat mitzvah lessons, it’s easy to stay connected to Jewish life. But what happens next?
