Join 7th-12th graders on a trip to the Nova Exhibit in Chicago on November 23rd.

"The Nova Exhibition is an in-depth remembrance of the brutal massacre at the Nova Music Festival on October 7th, 2023. The installation sets out to recreate a festival dedicated to peace and love that was savagely cut short by a terrorist attack on that fateful day. The attack at the Nova Music Festival was the largest massacre in music history. This powerful installation invites visitors to immerse themselves and bear witness to the tragic events of October 7th and its aftermath."

The trip will be led by CHUSY's Israel Engagement Specialist, Max Pivo. Max is currently the Manager of Partnerships at The iCenter for Israel Education. Max has a BA from Dartmouth College where he double majored in Religion and Middle Eastern Studies, minored in Linguistics, and studied Arabic. Max also has his MA from Harvard University where he focused on Middle Eastern Studies.​

Transportation will be provided from Long Grove, Northbrook/Northfield, and Oak Park/River Forest.

A minimum $18 donation is required to attend the event. All proceeds are used to commemorate the victims, rehabilitate the survivors of the festival, support the Tribe of Nova community, promote education and call for the return of the hostages.

Lunch will NOT be provided. You may pack a brown bag lunch to eat on the ride home.
