CHUSY Kickoff at Activate Chicago

Join your CHUSY for an incredible time at Activate Chicago in Oak Brook on September 2nd, 3pm-5pm! Team up or Compete against your friends! Make as many buzzer beaters as you can in the Hoops room, dodge lasers in the Laser room, or test your intelligence as you memorize patterns in the Press room. ​​

Each participant will receive an electronic wristband that unlocks rooms, tracks points, and allows participants to check their ranks against the others!


Participants can choose their own groups! Groups must be a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 people. 

 

There are 11 different types of game rooms, and two of each type of game room (22 rooms in total). Each game room has a variety of games to choose from and the better you do, the more challenging the game gets, so it matches your skill level! ​

 

There will be one CHUSY staff member for every 10 participants attending the event. CHUSY Staff AND Activate staff will be placed throughout the venue and will be monitoring and making sure everyone is safe!

After you work up an appetite dodging lasers, smashing buttons, and swishing hoops, enjoy some snacks and drinks provided by CHUSY in the lounge room as you shmooze with your friends.

Early Bird Pricing Thru August 11th: $36

 

Regular Pricing: August 12th-August 28th: $54

 

Full Price: Thru August 29th: $63
 

Cost includes ticket price, bus transportation, food and drinks, and staff.

A. 6th-12th graders

Q. Will there be food?

A. Kosher Nut-Free dairy and pareve snacks and beverages will be provided. Full meals will NOT be provided. 

Q. How much does this event cost?

A. Early bird pricing $36 thru August 11th
Regular pricing $54 August 12th-August 28th
Full Price: $63, late registrants will be required to pay full price

Drop-off is at 1:45pm, Pick-up is at 6pm

Q. How does Activate work? 

A. Participants receive electronic wristbands. Participants form groups with a minimum of 3 people and maximum of 5 people. There are 11 different game rooms and two of each game room (22 rooms in total). A maximum 5 people may be in a room at a time. There are a variety of game modes and difficulty levels for each room. Participants scan their wristbands to select a game mode for the room. The room will NOT open from the outside if a game is in session. The participant's scores are tracked and shown on a leader board in the center of the venue. Participants can choose to compete against their group members or team ups. The difficulty level changes based on how well the participants are doing, so the game matches the skill level of the participants. 


Q. How will CHUSY make sure everyone is safe?

A. CHUSY and Activate staff will be present throughout the whole venue. CHUSY has rented out the whole venue, so only CHUSY will have access to the venue. There will be one CHUSY staff for every 10 participants.
