Dear CHUSY,
To start, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to work with you as your 2011-2012 Religion Education Vice President. I know that this year is going to be fantastic! I am looking forward to hearing your opinions and suggestions so please do not hesitate to call me, send me an email, Facebook message, or text message; I’m here to work with you!
This year, I have big plans for the Rel/Ed aspect of CHUSY. First, I would like to record instuctional videos which will teach Ruach songs, how to lead services and prayers, and how to play Sunday Shacharit Live songs; I will upload these videos to the CHUSY website and to Youtube for everyone to use as an educational tool. I will need help recording these videos and if you are interested in helping do so, please send me an e-mail. Along with creating the videos, I hope to create fun inter-chapter shabbatons through out the year. Finally, I also plan on bringing the Study With A Buddy program to CHUSY region and will send out a form later in the year so that we can get this fantastic program on the road! So, CHUSY, get pumped for an amazing year!
