From Your Regional Membership/Kadima VP

Dear CHUSY,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your 2011-2012 Membership Kadima Vice President. I’m really excited for this coming year and know that it’s going to be the best yet! Over time, USY has become an escape from my hectic schedule where I see old friends, meet new people, learn and have a good time. CHUSY, I hope that you also think of USY like this and are just as excited as I am to have a fantastic year.
As your Mem/Kad, I will do everything to ensure that we recruit new members as well as retain current ones. It isn’t just mem/kads that can recruit new members; it’s everyone. With your help, we can take USY to new heights and expand CHUSY even more. By bringing new people to events, making them members and having them experience just one our amazing conventions, we’re sure to reinforce their new and ongoing love for USY. Kadima is a HUGE part of USY and by getting more Kadima’niks involved, we’re giving them a bigger pool of USY friends. Aside from fun programming and Shabbos ruach, those friends will be the reason they keep coming back. I can’t wait to continue our regional Kadima programs like flag football and the Kadima Konvention because they welcome the kadima’niks into the world of USY.
Membership and Kadima are the heart of USY’s body. Without the heart, the body cannot function just as without membership and Kadima, USY cannot function. CHUSY, let’s work together at keeping the body of USY healthy and strong by empowering the heart of USY.
