Dear CHUSY,
“If you could only see the way she loves me, then maybe you would understand. Why I feel this way about our love and what I must do. If you could only see how blue her eyes can be when she says, when she says she loves me.“
What makes Israel so special to us Jews? The simple answer would be, it’s our homeland, our holy land, something like that. But I have another answer. What if Israel was our girlfriend or boyfriend? Something that we have to care for, something we have to protect, something WE, as the Jewish people, need to love. Similar to a significant other, if we love Israel, Israel will love us back.
Each of us can develop a special relationship with Israel and I am merely here to play match-maker. I want to help you form that connection, that special bond with Israel just as I love Israel.
Israel is our homeland and our holy land but this year let’s make it so much more. Let’s all fall in love together.
